Playin with my melt pot

Well in January I bought a melt pot in a sale from a ex work shop and lots of other goodies with it ,It was a bargain only £10 well I braved it the other day and got it out ,and here its what I did  so one off my tick list

Off up to my daughters on the train tomorrow  as they couldn`t get anyone to look after the girl for the evening They have been Invited  to the House of commons for drinks and buffet so I`m staying the night as she has my car as her`s broke down at begining of the June
and I couldn`t let her take the girls on tube`s ,they have found out it beyond repairable and it only 06 plate and only done 73k ,so they have just found another car and don`t pick it up till Saturday afternoon  but I have to be back in Kent by 12.30pm on Sat for my friends Wedding so will have to wait to get my car back. I haven`t missed it .

Well when this goes live I will be heading to go and see my Daughter Angela and the girls it seem`s ages since I last saw them ,I will have the girls the end of the month when it`s there Wedding Anniversary ,Owen e-mailed me asking would Grandma  baby sit  for the day that was the title ,on opening the e-mail it was Friday through to Sunday,I jumped at the chance though my hubby will be on his 4 days on shift these means the girls might be up at 5am as they sleep in our room as we have only got 2 bedrooms ,well this enough of my waffling ,here is the card I have made ,I`m really liking this stamp set I got with one of my Kits from Becca

Another Aster card

I wasn`t allowed to show this when I made it ,I did make 3 different design in cards and this is the 1 my Sister and Mum said I should enter the Spellbinder  Design contest and this the one I entered

Well today was beautiful lunch was fantastic it was so nice to be around family ,I will take a pic of what I made Mum,I will scheduling this card tonight as tomorrow is going to be very hard for me 06-05 ,I can`t believe my brother has been gone  a year it still hurts and every time the phone rings I still think it will be him, we will be going to the grave sometime on the 06th to take some flowers and  shed some tears  I expect ,

Harry`s Card

Well this took for ages to make what could go wrong did ,the edges kept breaking when I got the first large shape out of the die I did it 3 times even with wax paper in the end I put it down to the card I was using ,
then the stamp Image didn`t stamp right 1st I thought I got the Image lined up but no so got  a blurred Image
so re stamped it further down the card, what I should of done was cut the other Image off but no so when I cut the shape out with the image then embossed it you guessed it I had a upside down Image of the bad one on my good Image so I binned it had had to start again .Once I got over this it seemed to fall into place but then I had to find a shape what fit my letters so I went to my page dies one fitted nicely so now i could construct so here is the card

Mums Card Just finished

Well I have just finished Mum`s card just the verse to put in , The card I did for Harry took me longer than expected as every thing that could go wrong went wrong but that is another story.

I had in mind what I wanted to do with Mums card  but it still took its time and the design changed a lot as things didn`t look right but I liked the finished  result so here it is

Wedding card

This is for a dear friend of mine we use to work together for 17 yrs in a bakery ,he was the floor manager ,I was production planner and Deputy Site Manager ,we use to make 38 million Mince Pies a year to all the Supermarkets ,plus other cakes and Flap jack ,Sadly Mr Hopper sold the Business in 2005 and the new Owners 2yrs later relocated the business to Blackburn and Poland so we all lost our jobs over 100 people ,
Mr Hopper is doing a reunion in August its going to be great ,Well Mark is getting married in June, as I have a loads of Birthday`s and my Daughters wedding Anniversary at the end of this month so I had to get this one out the way as it was a lot of work.

Owen`s card

Hi thank you for your lovely comment`s on my post yesterday it did mean a lot to me ,
this was a fairly quick card once I had found the Image on the net

Owen is into Batman ,Dr Who , and I have nothing like that last year I did him the welsh flag B.C and a flash Car Card ,

I thought there would be something on my loony tunes Cd but no I just used a backing paper from there

Well I wanted to mitre some card and wasn`t sure how to go about it so Hubby to the rescue he came in and showed me how to do it ,while it was not stuck to the paper it work but different when glue on it .

I was a happy bunny yesterday I ordered Sue Folders from C&C on Launch I was very nervous in doing so but this time they didn`t let me down and they arrived with the project book no 2 , I e-mail Sue as couldn't remember what the sandwich was and she e-mail nearly straight away hows that for customer relations C & C should take a leaf out of Sue , Well I did make a card last night but didn`t managed to take a pic hopefully today ,well enough of me going on .

Well not done much crafting this week I don`t know where my days have gone ,
Tuesday washing machine man came I was told it was not repairable and that my Insurance will contact me as to see what could be done , I have always do have Insurance on my big machine`s just in case they break down ,well they phoned late afternoon to say they was going to replace it with a new one such a relief ,My new machine came yesterday so it back to normal ,now no 3 hrs round my sisters don`t get me wrong I was very grateful but it is so nice to put your own machine on when you need it ,

I have been doing some air dry claying will show when dry ,I thought it would come white in the packet but it kind of blush colour so will have to see what I can do with it when it dry`s this is my first attempt ,

Japan Card

Hi well I got 2 cards made today and another nearly done it has been so nice seeing the Sun and my kitchen door open most of the day ,My damp part of the floor is nearly dry so my Fridge and freezer can go back to where they use to live .
I  sat out part of the afternoon playing ball with my youngest of dogs Max he is 11yrs young ,Daisy is 15 and doesn`t entertain balls now she just chill`s out .

Bits and bobs

Just a quick post ,I had loads of things planed for Saturday ,It was my hubby`s first day back on his shifts
got the 1st lot of washing on as he left at 6am ,then I sorted the rest into plies ,on the floor put the 2nd load on ,Me and Mum was just about to have are breakfast ,and you guessed it ,I had water everywhere ,switched the machine off quickly ,Couldn`t get hold of hubby he did eventually ring me to tell me where to switch taps off, I had 3 loads of washing wet through 2 on the floor and one in the machine ,after mopping   the water up ,went round to my Sisters she kindly washed it in her machine ,I spoke to the extended Insurance people they can`t get to me till the 23rd of this month ,what a wait , I did do a bit of crafting at my sisters she had won some stamps ,we also went to our local craft fair as 1 of the loads was washing ,  then back home to the chaos my floor still feels wet and it is 7pm .

Well lets see what Sunday has planned for me  ,I do hope to get my craft stuff back out ,I have one to make for Japan and one for Philippines this is for my Late Brother ,He asked me if anything every happened to him  please could I send a card out to Jen for her Birthday & Xmas which I will keep my promise this was his adopted Daughter May is going to be very hard for us

Wedding card

Hi sorry not blogged for a while ,I need to to try and sort my craft stuff out as I couldn't find things and I seem to be getting things every where I stopped crafting in the kitchen as to cold ,so been doing it in the lounge on our table ,can`t wait for a my own crafting place then I will be able to play properly , My daughter and the girls came yesterday and as Amelia gets her fingers into things everything had to be put away so that was the reason for my cull and sort out my stuff .

Inspiration

Hi Blogger friend`s I went out for nearly all day yesterday ,went to Newbury to see my stepson though it was great to get out of Kent it wore me out . I made 5 cards on Tuesday I was on a roll not finishing till late and I only stopped because we was going out for the day Wednesday but my head was still churning over Ideas  so didn`t get much  sleep .

My inspiration for this card was from the talented Jo Channon she showed a card like this on C & C when she did a pick of the week I got some of the things she had used but got the rest in and tried it I have never done anything like this before but was really proud the way it came out ,My sister fell in love with it and asked could she have for a birthday she had coming up on Thursday she collected it Wednesday It was one of my sisters stamps she had which I had borrowed for this challenge, she has now asked me to show her how i did it She has also borrowed some of my dies  .I have F.B Jo and she like my interpretation on her card

Those sympathy cards I had to do recently

It was quite nice here yesterday managed to get 3 loads of washing out on the Line and Ironed and Hubby washed the Cars though we had strong cold winds it was nice to see sunshine .

My winnings and card

Hi it did arrive yesterday afternoon and haven`t had chance to play with it  but will today ,Its just as good as the armour collection I ordered , but it`s its better an Invoice with £00.00 balance now that's cool .
Here is a pic of the collection so I will now have to due more colouring

Well we had an 80th Birthday to go to on Sunday my next door neighbour so the card I made was with one of my old dies  ,My hubby made her some candle sticks turning them out of  some Ash,  I made a bag to put the candles in my very first nearly broke out in a sweat but liked the finished result and everyone in the room comment on all of it how clever we are
so here is the card I haven`t got a pic of the candle holders though that's a shame

My Mother`s day card

Well I have managed to get on my blog don`t know how I have managed it but I have, so how long I will have it I don`t know I have been trying for the last couple of days my dashboard had gone ,
When I got back last Sunday I came down with and awful cold it put me in bed on Monday ,
there has one good thing happened this week I had e-mail from heartful creations my F Book comment,I
had won  there March Release collection so Happy dance was in order I have never won anything like that before I have a tracking order no : I have tracked it since it was picked up in USA, it was At FedEx depot on Saturday so hopefully I will get it as this goes live

Well here is the card I made for my mother she really like it ,it was not the one I had original she saw that so had to make her one when she had gone to bed in the evening  when she wasn`t around

hi I dont no what I `m doing

Not been around

Hi Bloggers sorry I have not been around for a while but hopefully after the weekend I will be back to normal if I ever can be normal .

last weekend I had treble toothache it was taken out on Tuesday , so mouth still sore .

I heard some sad new last week ,my daughter Hubby lost his grandad so I had to rush up to them last Wednesday so 2 more sympathy cards done ,I am now her at my daughters looking after the girls as they are going to wales for the funeral so I won`t be home till Sunday ,I have brought some craft things with me as Bethan loves cutting shapes up ,so I will be doing something ,I will get round to your blogs when I get home ,

I have to phone up home to make sure my mum alright as my hubby it on his 4 days working shift

A little bit of playing

Well I did do another two of the bxs yesterday and they have gone over to the shop I went there today and 3 of my mothers cards have been sold so chuffed ,Kate asked me could I put Easter eggs in these type of bxs   I have said I will try so when I go shopping I will have to get some ,

So the next card was a little of playing around with the new dies ,

my corners are from one die cut into 4, I did want to put the corners onto the square I had made but I didn`t look right so the ended up as corners on the card,
I would surgest that wax paper is used with these dies as can be a bit tricky getting the card out

Thanks for your lovely comments on my post yesterday It does mean allot to me ,

Today card  is another holly pond hill stamp on a swing you may be able to guess which die I used ,
well if you guest right the only problem is that the rabbit is swinging the wrong way with tree , I did use the Idea from Christine Emberson for the seat as a table at the bottom , I`m not sure of this die I don`t think I will use it that often .

I thought I might try the colouring lark as you all have inspired me with your colouring I have got the spectrum nior pens but really struggle with them but Hay ho I thought I would try again ,I have struggled with the grass . I will take all comments on ways to due grass I would love to conquer this as I have loads of stamps just gathering dust ,when my sister saw this card she has given me some of her stamps to try ( as though I need them !!!!) Thought this would make a nice Mum or Easter card ????

2nd Card

Well I made 2 of my Birthday cards today which I needed .I even may put one into a challenge they are colours I would have never have put together ,I will put on here when photo taken it will be my next post

With this card I forgot the the cosmic shimmer glue spray`s out on pearlesent card but once I had put it one I couldn't take it off

1st Mother`s Day card made

Thanks for all your lovely comments I looked on La Pashe web site and those CD`s have come off the sale now gone back to normal price ,I did get mine from C&C last year they may still have some cheaper ???

Well here is my first Mothers day card taken to the shop I have made 4 so far the shop I`m not going out over the weekend it`s to cold ,so hope to make some more cards as I have Birthday card`s to make for the being of March .

These cards I did for Angela so she had some at her house as she didn`t have time to go to shop for a card for Ben I gave them to her last friday when we meet she was chuffed , I have said I will do her some more ,

While Bethan was here we made 4 cards and a easter  basket I do like crafting with her but I forgot to take photo`s of those we made she is so into making things and she`s only 3 .
