Well I have just finished Mum`s card just the verse to put in , The card I did for Harry took me longer than expected as every thing that could go wrong went wrong but that is another story.
I had in mind what I wanted to do with Mums card but it still took its time and the design changed a lot as things didn`t look right but I liked the finished result so here it is
8*8 card from stash
Sue Wilson's Heart folder
Centura Pearl card
Colours of Pink from the range I got ages ago
Flowers in middle from hobby craft and leafs they where White but I gleamed them
Memory letter dies
SB dies , D-lite dies Gate 1 ,Flourish dies from the very first batch last year, this is so hard to get out even with wax paper ,
Grand square dies ,G L Labels , Aster die from oyster stamps
Gold labels 4 , opulent ovals
Thanks for stopping by
This is gorgeous Melanie. I have found a number of these d-lite dies impossible to get out when they are cut. It does help if you wipe the die with a tumble dryer sheet and then sprinkle it with talcum powder and then your wax paper - but they are a nuisance.
ReplyDeleteLike Marie-Louise I was also about to suggest talcum powder. Works a treat! Lovely card Melanie! Christine x
ReplyDeleteWish my mum was still alive, I would have loved to make her a special card to say 'I love you' but now it's flowers on the grave...love your card, colours and special feeling it reflects, your mum will adore this one.xx
ReplyDeleteOh in regards to these little dies, I always use grease baking paper, it works like a dream...put the paper over your cutting paper and the die over that...let me know how you go.xx
ReplyDeleteHi Melanie, gorgous card, such a pretty design. Bet ot will be loved.
